The Roto wine barrel has been designed to give the user a low maintenance alternative to the original oak barrel. When roto-moulding the barrel, we add a paraffin wax to the inside wall which allows the wine to store and ferment like a wooden barrel. We have designed the wine barrels from a robust polyethylene which has many advantages including the fact that it is easy to clean, is lightweight and has a long life.
Our Roto wine barrel is UV stabilized and food safe. Due to the polyethylene material, the barrel allows for good thermal isolation to keep the wine at a constant temperature.
The Rotomoulding process allows us to produce the barrels with no welding points, which means you have no weak points. Each barrel is supplied with a spigot/tap and can come in a range of sizes from 3L to 500L.

The wine barrels are produced by rotomoulding – this process takes around 45 minutes from start to finish and we hand finish the trays before they leave our factory to make sure the quality and look is 100%. The wine barrel includes a paraffin wax in the process to better help the storage of the wine.
We use a material called polyethylene, which is UV and shock resistant, non-toxic and recyclable, offering the customer peace of mind. We test our product to the extreme so that when winter arrives, you will not have to worry about the product becoming brittle or cracking.
